SEWING CLASSES
Our Minis Sewing Program
At Hearts and Crafts Studios we believe you are never too young to begin learning how to sew therefore we offer a 45 minute class for seven 6 week blocks throughout the year. This class is geared specifically to 4-6 year olds who are a little young for our older programs but are still interested in learning how to sew and have fun with fashion. In this class minis will learn all the basics of sewing while exploring fashion in a fun and creative way. Throughout the year these students will create one look to showcase in our year end fashion show.
Our Next Gen Fashion Design Program
Our studio also offers a next gen class for 7-14 year olds. This program runs once a week for 90 minutes from September to June. In this class our next gen designers will learn all the basics of sewing and machine use while exploring fashion in a fun and creative way with their peers. Throughout the year these students will have the opportunity to create a fashion collection to showcase in our year end fashion show.
Our Adults Program
Our studio also offers adult sewing classes for those of us who never learned how to sew but feel it would be a great skill to develop. In this class you will learn the basics of hand sewing, as well as machine use and basic stitches. We will learn how to create free hand patterns and sew/design items of clothing. Come and learn how to sew in a supportive classroom environment. No experience necessary all abilities welcome.
